Windy Wonderings 
We had powdered sugar flying, drifting all day Saturday. Could barely see the lake.

Do you get to see puffins on Grand Manan?

Sea Watch Tours operate tours from Grand Manan to Machias Seal Island where the puffins are. They are limited in the number of people who can go on the island per day (I think it’s around 12 from Canada and 12 from the US side). I haven’t been on Machias myself, but I’ve seen them when I’ve been out on the water. There’s none on Grand Manan itself.

Yes, a friend went on one of those trips, so I have that in mind too. I’d love to see puffin, at least once, in my life …
